Our Story: Specialty Medical is owned and operated by Joshua Heap. In May of 2000 Josh was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Disease. He spent a lot of time in and out of hospitals while receiving chemotherapy and radiation treatments. It was during this time that he recognized the importance of attaining quality medical equipment with prices that people can afford. By the grace of God Josh was given a second chance at life, and he wants to use this second chance to help provide people who have disabilities or medical conditions with excellent equipment at prices that are not overly burdensome. He created Specialty Medical to fulfill his dream of giving back to the healthcare community that supported him and his family through their journey with cancer.
